Yo Okweezy, tell the people who you are incase they’ve been living under a rock!

I always hate this question, Hi im Okwerdz, asshole battle rapper from Stockton California that just yells alot and has alot of dickriders.

First, you’re coming off a big battle with T Rex, the Rap Music polls say you won, the smack polls say T Rex won, Conceited said you lost to T Rex, do you have a comment on that?

my only 2 comments would be polls are stupid in general, and thats not what conceited said in person.

Would you battle Conceited?

not really interested to be honest but will probly have to happen eventually just because people want to see it so bad. everyone wants to see anyone battle someone that they called out, jus how the game goes i guess. if it was a situation to my liking i suppose i wouldnt be 100% opposed to it.

You’ve worked with a lot of high caliber artists, can you list some of these big names for the people

tech n9ne, kool g rap, mistah fab, rahzel, dj green lantern, dj big mike, sadat x, slug of atmosphere etc, bout to do somethin with freeway & jacka as well as a few others very soon.

Since your battle with T Rex everyone has wanted a piece of you, are you looking to get back at it or is your focus music at the moment?

im definitely not doing any 1 on 1 battles for a bit but when i do ive got my eye on a couple people in NY. until then im working on about 4-5 new cds, a new shirt design, alot of new content for my youtube (music videos, performance footage, freestyles, random experiences all over the world, and a few other surprises), a couple tours, some 2 on 2 battles overseas and maybe even some sketch comedy and whatever else i can dip into that falls in my lap. get at me if u need me for somethin: OkwerdzBiz@gmail.com

You’ve been on the battle scene for awhile and successful in both freestyle and written formats. How would you compare the earlier battle styles to what is happening today?

i think they both have there strong and weak points and i love them both quite a bit. the freestyle battles had alot more great spontaneous moments and promoted more rhythm/beat rocking skills but lacked the consistency of todays battles. Nowadays its like a big promoted pay per view heavyweight fight and just about everything is prepared to the T so its incredibly consistent and everyone has there best shit.

Compare your method for writing for battles to writing tracks, which one is easier for you?

writing for battles is much more difficult for me because theres a strict deadline, the performance is different, theres alot of pressure and ur reputation is on the line. Writing a good song isnt easy either, just different and alot less stressful i guess....its also alot more fun.

A lot of people are talking about you and Hollow Da Don are the top 2 in the league right now, would you like to battle him?

What’s your response to the track DNA released about Grindtime and the battlers in GT?

T Rex was talking while you were delivering your verse, how do you feel about him doing that and it happening in other battles?

i thought it was awesome. i kno he tried to do that thinking it would fuck me up but he doesnt realize when i came up battling it was some street corner cypher pull peoples hats/hoodies down, cut them off and talk shit during there verses type shit so really it jus made it worse for him because i was right at home. Honestly it was a feeling of disrespect i havent felt in a battle in a long time which made it more interesting and fun for me and the viewers at home, nowadays that type of thing is frowned upon which is unfortunate because its a rap battle not a fucking compliment or hug contest.

ps. fuck a foul in a rap battle.
